"I told you offworld help would be worth it. V-Sec doesn't know how to deal with that sort of person."

    "Was the bonus necessary?"

"Flies and honey, you know. We can afford to be a little generous... if it keeps her mouth shut."

The two figures quiet as the clean room light goes off, and the robotic arm flicks the latches on the case they retrieved. A hiss of gas escapes... but the toxin alarms do not go off, and only the small disc sitting within remains. It flickers, and a holographic image of a young woman appears, monochrome in color.

The woman speaks: "Congratulations, you've found the decoy. You really didn't think I'd just hand this to a courier, did you?" She laughs, then scowls. "Human curiosity hasn't changed, no matter how much you like to blame me for your woes. Really, any schoolchild could have told you opening this was a bad idea. Lucky for you, I'm feeling generous. This will be your only warning. Stop pursuing the pithos. I have my own plans to save humanity, and your profit is not part of it, I'm afraid."

The holographic figure points. "Stay away, or the next thousand generations will be talking about Pandora's Wrath instead."
