"Ugh, I think that's everything that was in my stomach." Holly braced herself against the wall as she made her way to her room at Columbia. Students noticed her face was green and stayed clear of the witch as she passed by. Once the right door was inside she weakly turned the knob and struggled to trudge towards to one of the beds before hitting it with a thud.
The sudden noise made Rue's ears rise a bit as she looked from her spellbook. "Didn't I tell you to knock first before entering? How was Salem...you don't look too great. Maybe I should turn into a rat so you don't throw up everywhere." She seemed more concerned about getting her personal belongings ruined than Holly.
"I ran into Salome, she's not as nice as she seems..." Holly did her best to explain what happened while moaning.
"Did anyone ever tell you, that you're a horrible judge of character? You upset one of the most powerful and dangerous witches to ever come out of Columbia. What did you expected would happen? You're lucky she didn't do something worse." This was coming from someone who wasn't so too friendly herself. "Maybe I should transform into you into a child instead because you act naïve as one sometimes." Rue couldn't help but to scold the younger witch.
"No! I don't want to go through puberty again...wait you're actually concerned about me?" Holly actually managed to look a bit surprised even though she was clearly in pain.
"I'm concerned that she might come here and drag me into this mess. Hopefully, you were only a mild annoyance as usual and she won't take it too personally." This actually made Rue stand up over Holly and sound a bit worried.
"I kind of summoned an army of people she killed back at her." There was a hint of pride in Holly's voice as she did that.
"Please, you can barely summon a gingerbread man. And all that did was run around bragging." Rue didn't sound like she believed Holly as she went back to read her spellbook as she didn't believe what she just said.
"I did too! And don't mention food right now...once I can walk again I'm going to look into Salome more. For now maybe you can tell me what you know?" For now Holly couldn't do much more than listen and talk.
"I know that this is a bad idea and if anyone asks you never talked to me about it. Maybe I should go see if I have any herbs for delirium before you do something stupider than usual. For now get some rest." Rue left the room for her personal garden. She had grown a bit fond of Holly even though she would never admit in a million years.
"Goodnight, Rue."
