Yellow Brick Epilogue

Luigi and Yahiko had been paid for their ghostbusting services with the swear jar. Which had $20 more in it after Dorothy lost her temper at the perverse ghost now trapped in Luigi's Poltergust device. At this rate Dorothy would spend all the money from her summer job on the swear jar.
But she had to explain to her father that what he had seen was real.
"Yeah dad, we beat up a ghost. Somehow I grabbed it, Yahiko beat the snot out of it, and Luigi... vacuumed it up." She's not quite sure what to make of it herself.
Teddy, her father, was lying on the couch he was placed on after fainting. Seeing two men and your daughter wrangle a ghost down isn't something you see every day, and Teddy's brain chose unconsciousness rather than trying to process everything. It takes him a minute to find words. "I'm sorry I didn't believe you, Dorothy."
Dorothy scoffs. "Dad, you clearly thought something was up, cuz if you didn't you wouldn't have hired ghostbusters. Freakin' GHOSTBUSTERS, dad."
Teddy straightens himself up on the couch, smiling nervously. "Professionals too, huh? Caught something and all!"
Dorothy gives her beleaguered father a hug after settling on the couch next to him. She still had unanswered questions, like how she was able to physically grab something that was invisible and probably incorporeal. Might have to ask that weird girl at school. Maybe the librarian at the library she found the spell book and weird bookmark?
Her father takes a deep breath. "So how about we talk about this goth phase of yours?"
    "Ugh, dad!"
