(Takes place after "The Doctor Is In")

Not too long after Josuke went to take a shower, his mother Tomoko poked her head into his room. "Hey, Josuke -- oh." She paused when she noticed he wasn't in there. A glance around, and her gaze stopped on the Bright Feather, nestled into her charging cradle like she was sleeping in an oversized chair. Tomoko gave a puzzled look, and walked over to the nightstand where the charging cradle had been put.

"...What's this? Some kind of doll?" she mutters. "Since when is Josuke into dolls?" Roberta was, after all, almost exactly the size of the popular brand of girls' doll. Though there were some notable differences -- particularly the joints, and the eyes looked like they could open and close. "...I wonder if I should be worried. He does seem awfully close with Okuyasu and Koichi..."

Idly, Tomoko picked up the 'doll' to examine it. Of course, this cut off the connection between Roberta and the charging cradle, which reactivated her. She opened her eyes slowly... to see a strange woman's face, inches from hers.

"EEEEEEK!" she shrieked, beginning to flail, and summoned her armor and equipment from slipway, in a flash of light. "MASTEEEEEER! HEEEELP!"

And at the same time? Startled by the 'doll' seeming to suddenly come to life, Tomoko yelped, "AAAAAAAH!" and abruptly dropped the Shinki.

Josuke heard this ruckus, and quickly grabbed a towel and wrapped it around himself, running out to see why his mother was screaming. Once he took on the scene, he almost instantly realized he'd have a LOT of explaining to do. Right after he stopped his mother from chasing a fully-armored Bright Feather around the house with the broom, of course...
