Xion stood at the foot of a mountain, facing out towards the expanse of Hyrule Field. Stock still, never moving from her vigil - except to dispatch the ocassional monster that came to test Snowpeak's defenses.

    Why was she doing this?

    They hadn't asked her to. She followed them, until they told her to stop following. So she stopped, and stayed here.

    They didn't trust her. It almost surprised her that she could tell. It definitely surprised her how much it hurt to know. A dull ache where there had simply been nothing before. Was this what other people felt like all the time?

    If this is what having emotions felt like, Xion didn't want them any more.
