The Gaping Maw is an old hat inn and tavern well known and renowned for serving adventurers and their ilk. Located in a massive port city, The Gaping Maw is known for a large hole in the center of the tavern that leads to a sprawling dungeon beneath the city. Rumor has it that the city council of lords and nobles has lost a large sum of gold; embezzled by one of their former members; a whopping 500,000 gold.
