In a certain world, a Holy Grail War ended disastrously with the premature manifestation of the wish-granting artifact the participants had fought over. With the fate of this world left unclear, one boy was ejected before he could see the results of the otherwordly manifestation. Unfortunately for this boy, his feelings of responsibility for the world he left behind is not the only thing trailing in his shadow.
