Overview

A seemingly ordinary modern day Earth like many others, people go about their lives in peace, completely unknowing of the magic all around them or the evil plans of the Dark Kingdom. The Dark Kingdom, a holdover evil from the prehistoric time known as the Silver Millenium, when the kingdoms of the Earth and Moon lived in peace with the rest of the planets, is led by Queen Beryl and the Four Heavenly Kings. The Dark Kingdom relentlessly hunts the legendary Silver Crystal, a source of great power, for their evil leader.
The focal point of the Dark Kingdom's search is Tokyo, Japan, where they send their monsters, Youma, to gather energy from the populace for their ruler while they hunt down the Silver Crystal. The only source of hope against these devious foes are the Sailor Scouts, led by Sailor Moon. These guardians of love and justice fight to protect the world from the machinations of the Dark Kingdom and fend off their monsters day and night to keep them from getting their hands on the Silver Crystal.
integration

Being a modernized Earth, people recognize that the World Tree is an existing concept and that there are other populated worlds beyond the Earth. Though aliens exist they are relatively unknown for the time being, and thusly the people of Earth focus more on the inhabitants of the other worlds that they CAN see. Outsiders and other worlds will be met with a definite curiosity, and new technologies that are compatible with the world will be readily accepted, like higher end computers, cell phones, and other such modern technological amenities.
The Dark Kingdom is not limited simply to Juban, Tokyo. Realizing that there are countless other worlds on the tree, Queen Beryl and her minions perhaps might reach out to other worlds to seek a new, if temporary, source of energy for their great ruler, be it the life force of odrinary people, or artifacts of power, or to even join in collusion with evil forces of other worlds that line up with their nefarious purposes.
