Overview

    This modern earth-like world has been plagued by large-scale problems throughout its history. The weave and weft of daily life are affected by many forces, such as alien technology, magic, and superpowers in certain sunsets of the population. As the twentieth century winds down to a close, supervillains are on the rise, along with heroes to stand against them. Cuties like Gotham, Metropolis, and more have begun attracting defenders.
    The appearance of Vines has only complicated matters. Some super powered criminals have chosen to expand their influence outward, while others battle for the empty niches left behind. Such villainous activity causes regular headaches for legal authorities mired down by jurisdiction; with the law stymied, capturing criminals falls to resurfacing superheroes. After all, people in weird costumes and powers don't have to worry about the red tape...
