Overview

In the cosmos of the Power Rangers, a great sage named Zordon created an extradimensional power source called the Morphin Grid to empower chosen warriors in the fight against evil. This fight often centered on that universe's Earth, where Zordon resided for many ages, though groups of rangers are scattered across the cosmos, all connecting to the same grid through different artifacts and technologies. The Cosmos of the Power Rangers spans vast distances of space, and while technology on Earth is relatively modern, advanced intergalactic technology and magic both exist and intermingle, with different intergalactic powers existing and advanced intergalactic travel possible for those with the technological and magical means. Recently, a fallen Ranger named Lord Drakkon shattered the Morphin Grid, causing a cascading crisis between different universes touched by the Grid. Though Drakkon was stopped and the Morphin Grid was stabilized, the destabilization resulted in a connection to the World Tree that was flung wide open, exposing other worlds to diabolical witches, evil sorcerers, vile bounty hunters, twisted machines, and the planet-destroying demon Dark Spectre. Though the connection to the World Tree is open, those with the means to travel along it are still taking stock and making first contacts, but the forces of evil have been far more pro-active in reaching out, looking for new realms to collect power and make trouble, with the Power Rangers close behind to stop them.
