Earth, Age 752. A wacky and fantastical world full of mystical adventures! Aspiring martial artists train to be number one under the heavens, and seven magical balls are said to grant the wishes of whoever can find them all.
Type: BlossomThis iteration of Dragonball Blossomed sometime during the 3 years where Goku was training for the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament. Roughly Age 752.
This theme is not meant to cleave to the main events of Dragonball or its sequel themes whatsoever from here on. Characters are encouraged to develop entirely differently! Who says Chi-Chi has to end up just a housewife, or Krillin can't keep up?! Let's see some creative use of other material here!
It's Tuesday for Earthlings. Portals opening in weird places? Strangers claiming to be from other worlds popping in having a look around? For city-goers it's reason to whisper and think people are nutcases, or maybe run away and call the cops. An evil overlord's flying castle takes up residence above a village out in the countryside? Not too different from... anything else that has happened, or can happen on Dragon Ball Earth.
Blossoming happened only a short time ago, and the world at large has yet to really appreciate the change. Assuming, that is, that people are educated - or even thoughtful - enough to put much thought towards it.
This is not the case for a few enterprising, spiritual, and/or intellectual individuals and small organizations who pay attention to such things. The Kais are concerned. King Yemma hopes this doesn't lead to a bigger workload. Kami, Guardian of Earth, watches the Vines worriedly from his sky-borne Lookout, hoping they won't bring calamity to Earth.
Capsule Corporation has begun its own investigations into the Vines - their behavior, their physics, where they lead and how they can expand their market.
Until something most spectacular and/or dreadful happens to come from the Vines and leave a VERY big impression on the world at large, the presence of the Vines will lead to many small stories of individuals having very odd days, but little else.
After all, it is Day Zero.
