Overview

A fantastic, mystical world full of adventure, martial arts, and people of all shapes and sizes, Earth of Universe 7 is a quirky paradise where Earthlings - both of the traditional sort, and animal people - live comfortable modern lives. Yet, not all - those outside the big cities range from humble farmers to medieval or even tribal enclaves.

Men and women of science have achieved much, though. Cars exist alongside hovercycles. Capsule Corporation has revolutionized life where industry dominates, inventing the DynoCap, a way to store all sorts of objects from houses to vehicles in a handy little capsule. The wicked Dr. Gero is hailed as the foremost maker of robotics and AI far beyond anything else produced in the world.

Outside the cities, the mystical and magnificent hold more sway. So do dinosaurs, which might explain why the cityfolk stay where they are! Everything from magic to wondrous ki-harnessing martial arts techniques and portals to the demon world are out there if one looks far enough. Such Martial arts are held in esteem, with popular tournaments held regularly on Papaya Island. A rare few even remember the legend of seven magic Dragon Balls that summon a wish-granting Eternal Dragon when brought together.

All of this madness is officially divided into 43 Sectors and governed by the splendid and noble King Furry.

Space is a dangerous place, dominated by the tyrannical World Trade Organization lead by King Cold and his family. Rest assured though, other planets are just as wacky and colorful. The ones that haven't been blown up by rampaging ancient evils or lazy Gods of Destruction and stuff like that, anyways.
Timeline

This iteration of Dragonball Blossomed sometime during the 3 years where Goku was training for the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament. Roughly Age 752.

Divergence

This theme is not meant to cleave to the main events of Dragonball or its sequel themes whatsoever from here on. Characters are encouraged to develop entirely differently! Who says Chi-Chi has to end up just a housewife, or Krillin can't keep up?! Let's see some creative use of other material here!

Integration

It's Tuesday for Earthlings. Portals opening in weird places? Strangers claiming to be from other worlds popping in having a look around? For city-goers it's reason to whisper and think people are nutcases, or maybe run away and call the cops. An evil overlord's flying castle takes up residence above a village out in the countryside? Not too different from... anything else that has happened, or can happen on Dragon Ball Earth.

Blossoming happened only a short time ago, and the world at large has yet to really appreciate the change. Assuming, that is, that people are educated - or even thoughtful - enough to put much thought towards it.

This is not the case for a few enterprising, spiritual, and/or intellectual individuals and small organizations who pay attention to such things. The Kais are concerned. King Yemma hopes this doesn't lead to a bigger workload. Kami, Guardian of Earth, watches the Vines worriedly from his sky-borne Lookout, hoping they won't bring calamity to Earth.

Capsule Corporation has begun its own investigations into the Vines - their behavior, their physics, where they lead and how they can expand their market.

Until something most spectacular and/or dreadful happens to come from the Vines and leave a VERY big impression on the world at large, the presence of the Vines will lead to many small stories of individuals having very odd days, but little else.

After all, it is Day Zero.
