Overview

It is the current year in the World of Darkness, a universe where modern human society lives in blissful ignorance of the things that go bump in the night. Mortal eyes are veiled against the looming threat of the Gentry, the True Fae, alien magical entities who reign supreme in their home realm. Amassing slaves, wealth and titles does not satisfy the Gentry, who ceaselessly ensnare humans in their plans and world, transforming them into Half-Fae, Changelings. Torn from their homes in The Waking, the world of humans--they are dragged through The Hedge and into Arcadia, The Dreaming where a portion of their soul is ripped free and their bodies transfigured. Those that manage to escape the mad world of the True Fae return home only to find families moved on, believing them dead, or worse, dopplegangers left in their place that quickly grew ill and passed away, or destroyed their former lives and relationships. They return to a world where they no longer truly belong, no matter how hard they try--but neither can they return to The Dreaming and the horrible fate that awaits them there. Such is the fate of The Lost and this is their story.
