Overview

    Meridian City, watched over by the Archduke, serves as a tradehub and seat of high technology. Titanic capital ships roam the skies, while independent aviators fly 1 or 2 seater vessels. The steam musket-wielding city guard keeps order in the streets. And every day the universities push technology's envelope just a little further.
    To the east of Meridian City is a tiny, all but forgotten nation simply known as Mists. They religiously worship their namesake, believing their shattered, aerial isles are the works of gods past -- instead of the cataclysmic disaster of an older civilization a few scholars have taken to calling the Ancients. It is here that the world's last mages are born.
