Overview

    This Earth has diverged from the path of technology, a world where magic has become realized as a potent force, willfully exploited after the Dawn of Revival in which all electronic devices suddenly and simultaneously failed to function. Since then mankind has made great progress, but history has been equally marked in blood for the developments resulting from that same progress. Namely, the Gears- originally a project meant to forward the evolution and potential of mankind, or so it was proposed. Instead such creations became deadly weapons, and perhaps inevitably, those weapons revolted.

    The Holy War has been over for little over a decade, but the memory of the bloody events that took place never seems distant enough for some. Humans are still wary towards the remaining Gears in the world, their Holy Knights having fought the living weapons in what at the time seemed like endless crusades.

    Their leader Justice has since been sealed, but the threat of her revival remains an ever looming concern. Most of the world has been quick to grasp at the concept of peace without considering the other powers possibly still at play. Leaders of countries and kingdoms continue to work at ensuring that they remain vigilant for whatever may come next.
