Overview
Celine Jules is a Symbologist, a magic user who uses Symbols to create spells, who hails from the Kingdom of Krosse in Expel. A sucker for treasure and an obvious caster, she's been duped by leads for grand treasures only to find out that not everything was as it needed to be, despite that, she's an adventure loving woman that ended up deposited on the World Tree with currently no way back to her home. This doesn't stop her from the grand adventure she will have, even if she's squishy mage.
Perks
Attack Symbology: Celine can attack using Elemental magic, including Starlight, Void and Vacuum.
Primarily, Celine uses Symbols, a type of magic, from various elements: Fire, Water, Earth, Thunder, Light, Darkness, Star, Vacuum and Void. She's capable of combining spells with other Symbology users (or equivalent) to produce greater effects, such as more damage or spreading damage in an AoE.
Alchemy: The ability to transmute stone to rarer items, such as Mythril and Orichalcum.
With her travels through the world, Celine's picked up on some alchemical recipes here and there, allowing her to transmute common stones into various other types of stones such as rubies, sapphires and even diamonds. This does take her a while and uses consumable materials that are expensive to get, so she doesn't use it frivolously.
Compounding: Ability to mix herbs to make a more potent item, such as restoratives or oils.
Sometimes, being out in the field means being without some healing items and with Celine's lack of healing symbols, she's turned to compounding, the ability to take various plants and berries and use them to heal non-crippling wounds, cleanse short term poisons and detrimental effects, along with minor boosts to abilities akin to her Support Symbology. However, some combinations make detrimental effects similiar to her detrimental spells such as doing a full cure, but petrifying them in the short term.
Identify: Uses Spectacles to identify the rough capabilities of items and people.
One of the more simple skills that Celine's made use of. Using a special, fragile, but fortunately replaceable spectacle, Celine can closely examine her creations and given a little time determine a rough idea of what they do. She can also use it against enemies, allowing her to quickly discern probable weak points or dangers, though this is less reliable the more powerful an enemy she uses it against.
Support Symbology: Celine can boost physical abilities or cancel enemy enhancements and spells.
A secondary set of Symbols, Celine's capable of buffing her allies in ways such as Agility, Strength, Defense and Accuracy or inconvinence the enemy slightly by negating their buffs with Anti or causing spellcasters to not be able to cast using Forget.
Complications
Flattery is All: Celine's a sucker for flattery so much, it bites her at times.
Celine's love of her apperance is only shortened by those who lavish attention and flattery upon her, so much so that she's almost wiling to follow them quite a ways. While it could prove beneficial, it's been known to bite her in the ass about it, leaving her stranded in strange places and without support.
Treasure Hunter: Celine's got a nose for treasure, even if it might be a false lead.
Celine's always on the lookout for treasure and /has/ been duped by false leads in the past when it comes to it, and it still holds true. The thought of treasure does not get questioned as much as it should be, and can be used to lead Celine into danger or to dupe her for her services and get away with not paying her.
Obvious Mage: Celine's got a very unique apperance, setting her apart from everyone else.
Celine has a /very specific/ fashion sense and habits and, if one was to study it, they could pick her out quite easily in a group, or even hit up jewelry stores with a certain probability that Celine /will/ be there. It doesn't help that she has a tattooed crest running from her thigh, up her body, marking her as a Symbologist.
Straight Shooter: Celine delivers her words straight, with biting force at times.
Celine doesn't like to mince words around, if you're doing something stupid, she's going to tell you. If it's a bad idea, she'll let you know. Sometimes these remarks can be unwarranted or unwanted, but that doesn't stop her from saying what she feels on the subjects talked about or ideas thrown about.
