Overview
Claire grew up in Zuzu City, and worked a soul-rending desk job for Joja Corp until it got too much. She moved to the Stardew Valley and built up Getaway Farm. She just wants a simple life, make friends, see new places and relax. Her time at Joja has left her deeply distrusting of big business, and does not want to return to working for one. By now, she's an experienced farmer and practiced forager. She's learned how to fight with sword, and slingshot and work demolitions with the help of the adventurer's guild and the local monster-invested mine.
Perks
Getaway Farm: A source of food and simple raw materials.
Claire's home and farm provides a wealth of raw and processed materials. Not just the mundane produce people expect from a farm, but also hardwood, fish, dinosaur eggs, monster slime and more. It includes a few workshops for processing raw products into more valuable goods like jelly, wine, and cheese.
Farmer: Knows how to grow crops and trees and how to handle and take care of animals.
Claire knows how to identify and care for plants and animals. She can grow crops, trees and take care of animals even if they are young, sick or hurt.
Miner: Skilled at digging and demolitions.
Claire is an experienced miner. She is skilled at digging with a pickaxe and she knows how to make and deploy powerful explosives. The explosives aren't fancy, just a shell and traditional fuse to light, but the bigger ones pack a lot of punch.
Warrior: Skilled with sword and slingshot. Carries explosive ammo.
Claire is skilled with the use of the sword and the slingshot. She has special explosive ammo for the slingshot. Unlike her other explosives, these are rigged to detonate on impact, but are smaller and so can't pack as big a punch as the heavy duty explosives.
Gathering: Knows how to fish, forage and collect valuable ores and minerals.
Claire knows how to identify edible and useful plants as well as useful and valuable ores and minerals. She's got a good eye for that sort of thing. She's also a decent fisher. She won't be winning any competitions with that, but she can definitely keep a small group fed if she needs to between her foraging and fishing.
Kit: Excellent Farming tools and powerful but simple weapons.
Claire's pickaxe, axe, hoe, sprinkler and fishing rod are all made of a rare and powerful material, Iridium. This makes them incredibly good at what they do. Her sword is the mystical Galaxy Sword, one of the most powerful blades from her world. Her slingshot is well made, and she makes her own explosive bullets to fire with it.
Complications
Small Town Protector: Protects towns that just want to be left alone
Claire protects towns and villages that just want to be left alone, if they want her help. Even if helping them isn't in their best interests, or hers. If someone wants to exploit, conquer, destroy, et cetera such a community, Claire is ready to take up arms for them. If people insist they ought to evacuate, and they don't want to, she'll do what she can to help the people who stay behind and defend their decision to do. If there's a local artifact outsiders need, she won't let people take it with the permission of the locals, though she's understanding and might try to negotiate a compromise if possible.
Aggressively Helpful: Helping people who need it whether they like it or not.
Sometimes people need help. Many of them don't see they have a problem, others are too proud to accept help. If Claire sees someone who needs help, she provides it and can be quite overbearing about it. Sometimes, she's wrong and they don't need help. Other times, the way she's 'helping' is counterproductive. She means well, but a meddler is a meddler.
Big Business: Hates big business.
Claire hates big businesses. She doesn't trust them and doesn't want to work with them. Any business large enough that the typical employee will never talk to the owner, CEO or equivalent counts as a big business to her. She'll eagerly work against them, and is prone to trust people who speak ill of such companies.
