Overview

Task Force 141's infamous skull-masked lieutenant, Simon "Ghost" Riley's reputatation is that of an ice-cold operator who vanishes without a trace after executing the mission. A rough childhood followed by a traumatic operation serving in special forces led to Ghost forming a dark exterior, rarely opening up his personal side to people. With a distinctive skull balaclava, Ghost leaves a menacing impression, assuming his combat skills don't. He's the guy who goes bang in the night for terrorists, and will haunt the bad guys to an early grave.

Perks

[Expand]
Infiltrator: Ghost is very stealthy and skilled at breaking and entering.
Escape and Evasion is one of many tactics an operator learns in special forces, and Ghost is exceptionally skilled at being undetected. Planting bugs and operating recon drones is second nature to Ghost when it comes to surveillance, and he regularly can improvise camouflage to avoid detection. He's also skilled with covert entry, ranging from lockpicking to breaching entrances.

Warfighter: Expert level marksmanship and hand-to-hand combat, heavy weapons usage.
Ghost's training in the British Special Air Service has given him a wide array of skills that make him a nightmare for any enemy he's pointed toward. As a soldier, he carries the knowledge necessary to operate and maintain many firearms and a wide number of hand-to-hand combat techniques. He's an expert sniper, and also ferocious in close-quarter combat. On top of all that, Ghost is capable of using heavy weapons such as rocket launchers and plant explosives for good measure, he's also got a wicked throwing arm for grenades.

Just Drive: Ghost can operate most cars, boats, and helicopters.
Ghost has the ability to hotwire most vehicles like cars and boats, and is an aggressive driver. He also has a pilot's license and is trained to use helicopters and small aeroplanes.

Tools of the Trade: Ghost has weapons, night/thermal vision, survival gear, and body armor.
Task Force 141 has access to top shelf firearms and explosives, as well as heavy weapons when needed. On top of that, Ghost keeps night vision/thermal goggles for when the lights are out, as well as keeps survival gear in a 3-day pack. He's a trained survivalist and knows how to hunt and forage in the wilderness. On top of that, he usually keeps a plate carrier on him, with steel and kevlar plates to protect against enemy fire. Also rope, Ghost keeps climbing kit on him just in case.

Intel Assets: Access to informants all over in other worlds.
Task Force 141 has plenty of favors to call in, and their CIA liaison Kate Laswell is good at planting assets all over the place. With a widespread intelligence network to call from, Task Force 141 can call on informants placed not only in their world, but they're working on planting them in others too.

Complications

[Expand]
Scars on the Inside: Ghost had a rough childhood, dislikes dogs.
An abusive father left Simon with many scars, not all of them on the outside. He doesn't address this often, and never publicly either. An accident also left Simon uncomfortable around dogs, mostly the big and aggressive kind. He can handle a little dog fine, but big ones will make him quick to react violently if he can't avoid them entirely.
[Expand]
The Mask Stays: Ghost keeps his identity safe to a paranoid degree.
As an operator in counter-terrorism, Ghost regularly keeps his identity secret. He maintains no social media and regularly keeps his face hidden even when off the clock. He reacts poorly when asked to show his face. Ghost has people he cares about, and he doesn't want them targeted because of his actions. This attitude can lead to some awkward and tense situations when trust is required, or simply to reveal his face for identification.
[Expand]
Spooky Bastard: Ghost is a bit creepy and favors intimidation over diplomacy.
You don't really wear a skull mask in combat unless you've got some issues and Ghost is no exception. He tends to carry himself with a menacing manner, and takes a bit of pride in his ability to silence enemies and leaving without a trace. He's an intimidating ally to be sure, and he favors usage of intimidation and force over diplomatic solutions, even if it may seem excessive to threaten someone into compliance.
[Expand]
No Kids: Ghost has a soft spot for kids.
Being a doting (if menacing) uncle and big brother figure for his niece Lily, Ghost has a bit of a soft spot for kids, especially ones who've had a rough time. He can empathize with them and often will take their side in an argument. If Ghost is faced with the possibility of having to kill or assault a kid, he'll either hesitate or even refuse to do so.
