Overview
Olivia comes from a world of conflict between angels, demons and mankind; within this world, Olivia was the Archangel of Dusk, who was stripped of her rank for defying the rules of her Creator and cast into the mortal world. She is a skilled swordswoman and possesses powers over darkness. Olivia is a levelheaded, yet curious soul whose desire to learn of new worlds sometimes brings her more trouble than she'd like. Her worldview has broadened since she bonded with mortal adventurers, eventually seeking a way to enter 'the New World', which she believes is the World Tree. Most recently, she has come into the ire of a group of demons known as the 'Convictors', and following a battle where she sustained grevious wounds, has lost the majority of her archangel powers.
Perks
Fallen Angel: Olivia is an angel, with posthuman physique and flight capabilities.
Olivia is a fallen angel, comparable to a primal beast, a term other realms might call 'Eidolon', 'Summoned Creature' or 'Aeon', and as such has superhuman abilities. Even in her reduced state, she still has more power and speed than any regular human, and she can fly with her wings. Being a primal beast also grants her the ability to sense other similar creatures.
Archangel of Dusk: Olivia's mastery over darkness allows her to control darkness and weaken demons.
Olivia's original purpose as an archangel was to prevent demons from seeping into the heavenly realms. Her Creator granted her power from a similar source that demons draw from. This allows her to manipulate darkness for the purposes of concealment, and allows her to weaken the strength, speed and magical powers of such dark creatures. Lesser demons can be more greatly affected, but the effect is lesser on named, powerful demons.
Goddess of War: Olivia is versed in commanding troops and war strategy.
Olivia is versed in the ways of war, and can command small and large numbers of troops and serve either as a commander or a strategist quite well.
Fallen Swords: Olivia's signature weapon are twin blades that she can will into existence.
Olivia's signature weapon. Twin slender blades that she can telekinetically manipulate close to her, allowing for deceptive and uniquely-angled swordplay. They are essentially a part of her being, so they can be dismissed and recalled at will.
Dark Fallen Sword< Edge >: Olivia's signature technique is a destructive burst of dark energy.
Olivia's signature technique. Fires two colossal blasts of dark energy that stream from both her swords, causing destruction pinpointed upon a central burst. Consumes a large amount of Olivia's energy afterwards, so it cannot be used recklessly.
Sealed Power< Edge >: Olivia can tap into her sealed powers for a dangerous, self-harming power boost.
In a desperate moment, Olivia can tap into the powers sealed by her Creator when she fell as an Archangel. Within this mode, she has greatly enhanced strength and speed; she can create more blades to fight with, and she can influence a greater area with her powers over darkness. However, the ritual to bypass the seal hurts Olivia when it is active -- and given that she is already wounded, accessing this well of power is a risky gamble indeed.
Complications
Fractured Body: Olivia's wounds make her powers unstable in areas of high magical activity.
Olivia's fractured state means her that powers are weakened and unstable; this means that, in areas of deep instability (such as magical rifts), she may find her abilities compromised even moreso than usual, especially compared to others.
Fractured Mind: Olivia has a sense of paranoia due to her incomplete memories.
Due to the damage she sustained from her battle with Convictor Sylvia, Olivia's memories of the world she endured through are not complete. She's convinced that there are many enemies out there after her, making her susceptable to paranoia that the Convictors are still hot on her tail even when they aren't.
New World Obsession: Olivia's desire to seek new worlds makes her curious and easy to lure.
With Olivia's obsession with the new world granted, she's deeply curious about learning everything she can of all the different Blossoms of the world tree. Such curiousity can make her easy to lure.
Rebellious: Olivia tends to have an issue with authoritative and deeply lawful societies.
As a fallen angel who fought against her Creator in the past, Olivia is predisposed to value personal freedom highly and tends to react poorly to authoritative and lawful states.
Darkness Vulnerability: Olivia, as an archangel, is still vulnerable to dark and evil powers.
Despite being a fallen angel of darkness, Olivia is still an archangel at her core, and shares her brethren's vulnerability to the powers of the dark. As such, her existence was always often a double-edged sword, and perhaps it was no surprise that she fell in the end...
