A world dotted with islands, ran by the three great gods of Behemoth, Leviathan and Ziz. People here are varied, ranging from human to start to avianfolk, seafolk and landfolk and the unhallowed "Untouched". Primarly a sea-based world.
Type: BlossomThe world of Crystal Waters tech level is roughly in the around the early 1700's. Steam power is rarely in use for mills and mining, but it's way too cumbersome to be used on ships. Houses are made with stone and wood and professions are vast. There are 'alchemists' on the lands, mostly for poultices and gunpowder creation for ship-borne cannons.
With the world able to interact with the Tree, there's trade routes with some of the islands around the world mostly for small goods such as herbs, spices and cloth.
Being a world with already many different races on it, xenophobia isn't really a huge thing in the world. There are those outliers who distrust the offworlders and even those not of their own kind and the majority of people distrust those who have went to the Untouched side, considering them disrupting the natural way of life. Humans from the other places are scrutinized but not outright turned away if they're traders, as they don't know if they've decided to stay 'human' or just waiting on their time to be Touched.
Despite the premise of people being changed into other things and the presence of gods that can do extraordinary things, there is no magic as you would typically find in a fantasy setting. No elemental spells or curative magic of the like exist in this world.
