Overview

It is ten years until the millennium's end. In the distant star system of Algol, signs of change have already begun manifesting. Long-buried spaceships from distant ages, ancient androids, monstrous flora and fauna, and ancient horrors rise, all things largely forgotten by the more primitive people of Algol. Environmental changes made by long-lost space stations have begun to fail across the system, with habitable zones becoming more and more oppressed by the planets' original ecologies. The people living in the ruins of the past are being pushed further into their already-insular medieval communities as dangerous terrors prowl the sands. The relatively peaceful times of the age shatter as men and women take up the sword to protect themselves and earn a living, feeding on the tension growing in the air. Amidst these warning signs, a pair of teenagers meet, one the reincarnation of the master wizard, one destined to be the greatest hunter of the age...
