Overview

Enter an Earth with a parallel history to our own that is a dazzling view into the future--with a few colorful twists. Alongside humanity exists a race of anthropomorphic animal people, coming in many shapes and sizes.

Together, they have forged a bright future and sprawling cities of steel and glass, but not without peril. It is a world of high technological advancement, mysticism and wonder. Mutants, magicians, robots and psychics cross paths and swords with heroes and evil-doers of many stripes. Of course, many agencies and bureaus have been created to deal with them and such threats are a part of every-day life.

From holo-panel TVs and AI to cursed magical tomes to summon armies of darkness, all these things can be found here. It is a world of fantastic events and over the top action, a world where noble heroes work for the betterment of the world. But where there are heroes... there will always be villains.
Integration

Earthcadia has only recently become part of the World Tree. Outside technology in itself isn't much of an issue due to the futuristic nature of the world. Psychic ability and supernatural abilities tend to draw more attention due to being less common. The world's governments tend to monitor those who stand out and aren't registered with them. The same applies to visitors from off world. Those with unique talents tend to have little actual power as far as leadership is concerned.

While all types of magic exist from magical girls to dark magicians those who practice it are a tiny minority. It isnt public knowledge and those who practice it tend to form tightly knit communities. Magicians tend to keep themselves for the most part to avoid attracting the governments attention.

The world's governments now seek to make new discoveries that will benefit their respective nations before other countries have a chance to do the same. They also seek to defend themselves from any outside invaders that might try to cause trouble.
