Overview

    Dark Souls is a dark fantasy world, with swords and ancient sorceries, which are mysterious and feared by most. The events center around Lordran, an old land where the Gods originated, and now used as a form of exile to the humans that are cursed with Undeath, which slowly drives them insane.

    The Gods brought about the Age of Fire, bringing light and heat to the world, but now the Gods are losing their power, and the primordial First Flame from which all others spring has begun to flicker and die.
